We prepare ourselves to contemplate how God came and lived as one of us within the family of Nazareth. At the same time we can also meditate on how we live in our families and how God comes every day to our ordinary lives and makes himself present walking with us.
Lord…Gazing upon your Incarnation and your simple life, I desire to live as You lived. The life of your Mother--Our Mother, by your gift—is my comfort for the difficult moments when I see myself tempted to lose my peace and to let ourselves be overcome by difficulties.
Do not permit me to not be a builder of peace. Do not let my daily life become an irritating routine and a road of hopelessness. Help me to be a bridge between the estranged and a cause of peace among my brothers and sisters.
