The first video ad that stars the Pope!

Did you know that Pope Francis records a video each month that accompanies his monthly intention? It is a new initiative that brings the monthly prayer intention to life.

The Pope Video is a global initiative developed by the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network to disseminate the monthly intentions of the Holy Father regarding the challenges facing humanity.

The video has a universal tone, featuring the active participation of Pope Francis and has spread to all corners of the world. At the moment it is published in 9 languages: English, Spanish, Ital-ian, French, Portuguese, Chinese, Arabic, German, and Dutch. It can be watched through the Internet, on some TV channels in the world, and on the Pope Video website.
The Pope Video has been called by some the first advertising spot that stars an active pope. One of its primary hallmarks is a thematic focus on human values that transcend cultures and religion.

The project was first launched on January 6, 2016, and is a production of La Machi Communication for Good Causes, a communications agency and creative company founded in 2012 with offices in Barcelona, Buenos Aires and Rome. Since its first release, the Pope Video has had more than 20 million views on its networks.
