Input Sought for Synod on Youth

Pope Francis has called a special assembly of the Synod of Bishops concerning youth which will meet in Rome in October 2018 (about one year from now). The purpose of the Synod is to see how the Church can better listen to and respond to the needs of Youth around the world.

The questionnaire put out by the Vatican in preparation for the Youth Synod is an excellent way of inviting our young people to express their views about their lives in relation to the Church.

Answering the questionnaire is open to any young person, Catholic or not, from 16 to 29 years of age, anywhere in the world. It is taken on line and is anonymous.

During the month of October, the month of Mission, why not be part of this world wide consultation of youth? If you are over 29 why not invite some youth to take the survey?

Let's launch out into the deep (Luke 5:4) and begin the conversation.
