With Jesus in the morning

Start the day giving thanks to the Lord; each moment is a good moment to do what is right. “While he was going through a field of grain on a sabbath, his disciples were picking the heads of grain, rubbing them in their hands, and eating them. Some Pharisees said, ‘Why are you doing what is unlawful on the sabbath?’ Jesus said to them in reply, ‘Have you not read what David did when he and those who were with him were hungry?'” (Lk. 6:1-3). With Jesus during the day

Take a pause in your day, renewing your strength with a prayer directly from your heart that is inspired by the day you are navigating. Notice the things around you. The Lord invites you to continue on with his mission of compassion towards the good that he presents to you. “A concern for the environment rooted in love is required for human beings along with a constant commitment in the face of societal problems” (Pope Francis). What can you do better in your environment and in your relationships? Continue your path forward with this in mind.

Do you work for a simple lifestyle? In your personal progress are you inclusive of those around you and of the planet? Ask forgiveness if you have fallen into indifference and make a specific resolution to consider the wellbeing of others and of creation as much as you consider your own. Hail Mary…
