With Jesus in the morning

Welcome this new day with a calm, open, and receptive heart. “No one tears a piece from a new cloak to patch an old one” (Lk 5:36). Jesus invites us to look interiorly and take note of our attitudes, not desiring that we have distinct patches with different colors and designs, but rather, he invites us to renovate ourselves entirely, moving away from what makes opening up to the good news difficult. Take a moment, breathe deeply, and love God and those around you as a way of representing your love for your surroundings. “We need a new universal solidarity… the talents and involvement of all are necessary to repair the damage caused by humanity’s abuse of God’s creation” (Pope Francis). Use your talents to bring novelty and creativity for inventing a way of living together that is more caring of our world. Pray that we may receive the light for continuing on this journey.

What could you improve on for tomorrow? Hail Mary…
