With Jesus during the day

I slow down the events of my day to take a break and turn my atention towards the Lord. I make myself present to Him, and I thank him for what I have experienced. Have I been a loving presence for others? “It is only authentic recognition of the other that makes love possible, and it means putting yourself in place of the other to discover that there is something real, or at least understandable, in the middle of your own motives and interests” (Pope Francis). “Lord, help me to love my neighbors better through concrete actions that make them feel welcome and valued.”
