In your relationships, do you consider this, or do you put selfish desires first? Ask for this grace for this day, and keep in mind that the first person that benefits will be you, and with your testimony, you will inspire others. With Jesus during the day

Take a moment to rest in God. Those who prepare for marriage need to grow in a generous, patient, faithful love, forged in contact inside and outside the home, with one’s neighbor. “Love shatters the chains that keep us isolated and separate; in their place, it builds bridges. Love enables us to create one great family, where all of us can feel at home… Love exudes compassion and dignity” (Pope Francis) How do you cope with your chains? Do you do for each other what you’d like to do for yourself? This journey is long, take advantage of it and pray for the challenge of the month.

Take a break this afternoon and soak up the gifts given to you. Look at the people who made your day in the light of the Spirit. Was there anyone that was particularly difficult or unfriendly to you? Do you try to justify it by trying to see its good side, or do you take strict account of its defects and sins? Do you pray for them or do you criticize them? Ask for forgiveness if you did not experience the Father’s merciful eyes today, and reward your morning by helping those who begin the way of marriage, to know the joy of surrender in mutual compassion.
