Receive today’s invitation: “Do not judge anyone, so that no one judges you.” (Mt 7:1-5.) “Love seeks to keep silence about the evil that may be in another person… limit judgment, contain the inclination to express a harsh and implacable sentence… love takes care of the image of others, with a delicacy that leads to preserve even the good reputation of the enemy” (Pope Francis). Do you take care of your brothers and sisters in your speech and in your thoughts? Ask for the grace to be loving and for the grace of love in young people called to marriage. Our Father…

Pause your day. Put your heart next to Jesus’. “An unpleasant part in a relationship is not the totality of that relationship… it can be easily accepted that we are all a complex combination of lights and shadows. The other is not only that which bothers me… Love coexists with imperfection” (Pope Francis). Love knows how to be still in the face of the limitations of the other. Do you usually see only the ‘shadows’ of those who cross your path, or do you also recognize their ‘light’? Those preparing for marriage must learn this art. Collaborate with this mission from your own place and continue your journey.

At the end of the journey ask for the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and give thanks for the gifts of today. Did you contemplate the fruits of each gift, with the bright-side of each situation, even when things were challenging? Or did you focus on the flaws, the negatives, and what you don’t like? If so, ask forgiveness and the Lord’s help so that tomorrow you can pick up the best fruit in your basket, leaving the rest aside. Your testimony will help those who are preparing for marriage, to grow in a joyful surrender, and to maintain a positive outlook. Hail Mary…
