With Jesus in the morning

Start your day by finding things you are grateful for. Make yourself available to Christ to partake in his mission to heal the wounds of your brothers and sisters. “In towns, cities or villages, they placed the sick in the squares and asked him to let them touch the hem of his cloak; and all who touched it were cured” (Mark 6: 53-56). Become aware. Do your gestures heal wounds or open wounds? Awaken the best or, on the contrary, make people’s frailty emerge? Ask the Lord to heal the wounds of women injured by violence. With Jesus during the day

Take a break this afternoon to look into how tomorrow may go. The Pope tells us that “from a woman the Prince of Peace was born. The woman is a donor and mediator of peace and she must be fully involved in the decision-making processes” (Pope Francis). Bring to your heart the women who have entered your life today. Acknowledge their talents and thank the Lord for them. Make a resolution to have a gesture of community with the women with whom you share your life with. Present a smile, a word of encouragement, or a helping hand to these women. Renew your offer.

Let the example of her life decant in you, and learn from her feminine values, especially when she faces the cross. Take note of what you discover and ask God for help to bring it into your life. Hail Mary…
