There is someone close to you who today needs to hear the voice of God in your words of comfort. “It is not the healthy who need the doctor but the sick” (Mark 2:13-17). Remember that “Mercy: it is the last and supreme act with which God comes to meet us” (Pope Francis). Speak tenderly, say words of encouragement, put hope in conversation. This afternoon, take some time to be quiet and encounter the Lord. He invites you to be more of a neighbor, as the Pope tells us “I no longer say that I have neighbors, whom I can help, but that I feel called to become a neighbor of others.” On the path of love and service, the delicacy of the soul warns you that there is someone who needs you. When you make yourself present there, without invading, you can alleviate difficulties. This afternoon approach your neighbor with a smile that opens hope.

Calm your mind and still the breath. Go through the encounters you have experienced today and review how they were. Did you create bonds or did you stay distant and indifferent?
