With Jesus in the morning

Embrace this new day with a compassionate heart, ready to give love to those who need you today. Jesus tells us “I feel compassion for the people because they have been here with me for three days and they don’t have anything to eat” (Matthew 15:29-37). Many people spend their days with you, sharing their work, family and friendship. Do you stop to help meet their needs? Do you ever take a step back to allow yourself to be moved and impacted by how they live? Compassion is a decision and it asks us “to pay attention” and act with love. Our Father…

With Jesus during the day

Take a break today to pray with Bartimaeus. As Pope Francis tells us, “he was blind and he would sit begging on the side of the road…One day he hears that Jesus would pass by…Then Bartimaeus waits: he will do everything possible to find Jesus.” What does the reality of this blind man reflect in your life? Do you want to find Jesus too? There are blinds that prevent you from “seeing” the Lord in how you live, but you can still stand on the side of the road with the strong desire to “find” Jesus so that he can heal you. Renew this desire this afternoon.

What conversations did they generate? Our thoughts program our attitudes. Make a resolution for tomorrow and ask God for help. Hail Mary…
