Embrace the new day with your ears turned to the Lord who says: “What do you want me to do for you?” (Luke 18:35-43). What do you want? The Lord knows your need, but does not want to do anything without you. Everything will be with you, so express your desire to the Lord: ask, call, seek. This morning take a moment to speak to the Lord as one friend to another, in confidence. He waits for you. “Lord, you know what I need.” Make your offering for the Pope’s intention.

Stop along the way to give your heart rest. “Science and technology are not neutral, but can imply from the beginning to the end of a process various intentions or possibilities, and can be configured in different ways” (Pope Francis). Everything that technology imposes on your eyes, does it help you to look inside and recognize yourself? Does it help you discover the presence of your neighbor who needs you? Keep asking the Lord that you can see everything from the eyes of the Spirit, and discover in everything, the transforming presence of the Lord. Renew your offering.

Pick yourself up. Be grateful for the big or small graces that God has given you, a conversation, a surprise, a company. Become aware of the sad or painful moments of the day. Did you hurt someone today? We tend to hurt those we love. How could you repair the damage done? Make up your mind for tomorrow to have a gesture of love with whom you had a hard time today. Hail Mary…
