The Pope tells us that “there is a tendency to believe that any increase in power constitutes progress without further ado … as if reality, good and truth spontaneously spring from the same technological and economic power.” The almost instantaneous acquisitions that technological means give us do not apply to the rhythms of the Spirit, whose dynamics are those of the artist, who little by little, calmly, is achieving his creation. Continue strengthening today, as every day, your perseverance in the strength of the Spirit, for which no effort is in vain.
