With Jesus in the morning

Here we are this morning with Mary Magdalene who has a hard time recognizing Jesus after his resurrection and mistakes him first of all as the gardener. “Jesus said to her: ‘Mary’. She turned around and said to him in Hebrew: ‘Rabbouni,’ which means master.” (John 20:11-18) Like Mary Magdalene, I hear Jesus calling me by my first name, and I remain silent to hear it within me. With Jesus during the day

In the middle of this day, I offer my day to the Lord, thinking of this month’s intention: Praying that those suffering from addiction may be helped and accompanied. In my prayer, I can repeat these words of Isaiah taken up by Jesus at the synagogue of Nazareth: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives.” (Luke 4:18)

How did you respond to them? Did you act freely, feeling love, hope and confidence? Did you feel restless? Learning from what was experienced today, ask God for the grace tomorrow to act with interior freedom, not as a slave to sin. Hail Mary…
