Heavenly Father, here I am in front of you at the start of this new day. In today’s Gospel, I want to retain the attitude and the words of the Prodigal Father towards the eldest son who refuses to forgive his brother: “You, my child, you are always with me” (Luke 15:31) . Yes, Father, I am your child, allow me to live under your loving gaze during this day, in my activities and my meetings, and in the pardons that I may have to give. In union with the members of the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network, I pray the Our Father, including in my prayer the men and women of the whole world who are all your children.

With Jesus during the day

The Father gave us the Spirit of his Son to teach us to love. I am silent and I hear it murmuring in me: “Abba! Father!” This word helps me to realize that I am a child of God, it help me see myself as a brother or sister among to other people. I can say it several times during this afternoon, in the silence of my heart, or out loud.

Recover the stillness in your heart and calm your mind. How are you doing right now? What are you grateful for? Collect your attitudes throughout the day and discover the moments in which you have acted with gratitude, benevolence, positivity, joy and mercy. How have your conversations been? Give thanks to God for the times when you were a peacemaker. Hail Mary…
