With Jesus during the day

Being misunderstood and persecuted for your faith is often a characteristic of being a good Christian. Following Christ is challenging, it is swimming against the current to maintain your values and not succumbing to the vanities and models of success that the world presents us. I can overcome the pains of persecution through constant prayer. Daily Gospel meditation and listening to God who speaks in the silence of my heart can help me to continue on the path of holiness and not to be discouraged in the face of injury and misfortune. Through these exercises I can preserve my inner peace and remain in the joy of the Lord.
