
With Jesus in the morning
Today we go to meet the Lord. “The publican went down to his house justified, and the Pharisee did not.” (Luke 18:9-14). “The Pharisee feels fair, feels in order, struts this and judges others from the top of his pedestal. The publican, on the other hand, does not use many words. His prayer is humble, sober, imbued with the conscience of his own unworthiness, of his own misery: this man truly recognizes himself in need of God’s forgiveness, of God’s mercy.” (Pope Francis) Find an opportune moment today to pray with family in simplicity and humility.
