Today is “When we most need a missionary dynamism that brings salt and light to the world, many lay people fear that someone will invite them to perform some apostolic task, and try to escape any commitment that may take away their free time.” (Pope Francis) Are you able to put aside your projects and offer the Lord your memory, understanding and will? Ask the Lord to grant you the grace to be generous with others.
2016 have prayedWalk through your day and appreciate what you experienced today. When we grow in relationship with God we learn to identify the voice of the Spirit in our heart, distinguishing it from “other” voices. Rest and breathe slowly as you pray tonight. When have you felt fullness in your life? What events disturbed you and made you lose peace? What conversations helped you and which ones did not? Write down what you discover and try to maintain peace in your heart tomorrow. Hail Mary….
